On this score, Osinbajo fails spectacularly based on his records. <br />I am afraid that the same will be repeated if he becomes President. Just imagine the appointments he made in the first term of the administration (2015-2019) when he had the trust of his principal, and he was put in charge of the economy. Not a single one of his appointees or Special Assistants/Advisers had any training in Economics. Almost all the dozen "Special Adviser (or Assistant) on the Economy that he recruited were expected to bring in general knowledge from humanities, law, foreign service, etc. No wonder the economy went belly up. He could not give a good account of his stewardship when he faced Peter Obi during the 2019 election debate. By the time Buhari assembled a team of distinguished Economists later, the damage was too deep.<br /><br />I strongly advice Nigerians to weigh their choices carefully.
