More so, Professor Moses Ochonu's position on Ambassador John Campbell’s tradition of maligning the southern part of the country to promote his interest exposes the injustice which Nigerians has been living with from the inception. As for the Magu/Malami, Professor Farooq Kperogi has done nothing but justice in his objective analysis.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08014279004153674952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2625710219374323467.post-9033389087111556502020-07-11T03:45:50.501-04:002020-07-11T03:45:50.501-04:00Professor Ochonu's article has exposed me to a...Professor Ochonu's article has exposed me to a better understanding of the history and current state of affairs in Northern Nigeria and its relationship with the rest of the country. It is clear that we are still trapped in the colonial mentality of romanticizing and holding the North to different standard as opposed to other regions. This is reflective in our every day life be it education, politics, religion etc. The result has always been detrimental to the growth of the country as a whole.

On Malami and Magu, Professor Kperogi has shared my thoughts. We have seen this scenario play out before with Ribadu, Waziri, Lamorde and now Magu. It will continue to be so because we have stronger personalities in Nigeria than institutions.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04504859590284461859noreply@blogger.com
